KANUNI LEKE DUKAGJINIT

This has become my favorite reading material since I got to Prishtina. I find it to be very interesting and revealing. I am still reading enough not to make any comments on it. Just thought I'd share snippets of it with you. This is the English translation version of it. One sees the influence of the Christian priest that compiled the Kanuni on several pages.

it is A veru interesting observation about the influence of a Christian priest in the content of the Kanun. Kanun is used as a one of the supporting facts or bettter put the linching of the albaina heritage by serbian an greek propoganda. its content speak for a pure real clean society and for the time it was written was a very democratic an progresiv set of moral and factual laws. although i can write all day about this sucbejct I congratulate you in your endavour

I have just read Kanuni Leke Dukagini and found it most interesting. On the one hand it is modern and liberal in its urgings that decison makers be impartial and favour no one. On the other, the rules with respect to women
( a "sack" ) are way out of step in the 21st century. How do you see the Kanuni reflected in the modern Kosovo?

And by the way, nice put down on
