What to look forward to on this blog: news from Kosovo, the organizations that function here and the people on the ground; pictures from the region and my other travels while here; my crazy view of my environment; gossip about different people; personal happenings; and hopefully good stories. So there, welcome and enjoy the ride from here …. Feel Free to leave your comments also, I want to know your thoughts.

I bet the store owner spent some time in London. Nevertheless, these little cafe places can look quite impressive for the small amount of money they put in them.
Lovely place, and I found a ton of cool CDs and DVDs... but isn't it strange that you can run a shop like this selling only pirated (stolen) ware in Europe? Strange too that lots of foreigners working for NGOs that are trying to set Kosovo straight shop there.
Where is Ginger?
Hello N & H
Pardon the delay in reply. Ginger is in Payton near the UNDP House and diagonal to the new French cafe.

PS: Anon, I do not know what you mean by setting Kosovo str8, I did not know it was crooked. In any case, I doubt piracy of classic movies and music is priority for Kosovo government now. touche ... those who claim to be better tend to be the worse most times ... next time you might find yourself saying that Pristina is so dirty with trash everywhere, ask yourself who usually drinks water from the plastic bottles that litter everywhere ;)
I was in Pristina for three days in April and was fortunate enough to be drawn to Ginger, where with the help of the owner, purchased 5 Kosovar CDs including Jericho, Por*no and a great compilation of Pristina bands. I felt immediately at home and would support this cool store over every other in Pristina.
